Q: When / Where is the Conference
A. The conference is Wednesday, October 23 through Saturday, October 26. The conference is being held at the Downtown Sheraton in Denver, Colorado.
CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
A: It will be available early 2013. Please check back.
MEALS
A: A continental breakfast and snacks are provided all days of the conference.
A: There are no refunds on conference meals.
LOGISTICS
A: Check in is at 3:00 pm and check out is at 12 noon. Late checkout needs to be arranged ahead of time.
A: The Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel is a non-smoking hotel. There are designated smoking areas outside the plaza and tower buildings.
A: The hotel is dog friendly. If a guest has a dog he/she needs to notify the front desk so hotel employees are aware of the presence of a pet.
OTHER QUESTIONS
A: There will not be any on-site child care services at the conference. Due to safety concerns, and the fact that the content presented in not always appropriate for children, no one under the age of 12 (including infants in strollers) are allowed unless they are registered conference attendees.
A: The hotel complies with ADA requirements. They have 15 ADA rooms in the Tower Building, and 42 ADA rooms in the Plaza Building. All rooms have roll-in shower access. Interior routes provide a clear pathway for wheelchairs, and ramps are available throughout the hotel. In addition, they offer several large restrooms providing accessible facilities along with lowered water fountains. All restaurant and lounge outlets provide easy access for guests in wheelchairs. Elevators have inside/outside Braille letters and signs on the elevator jambs on each floor. TDD phones are available in the majority of telephone banks. Auxiliary aids (i.e. telephone hand set amplifiers, telephones compatible with hearing aids and TDD phones) are available via the Security Department ext. 2589.
A: The hotel will offer free wireless internet access in sleeping rooms for conference attendees. As this is a service provided by the hotel, the conference organizers cannot guarantee the functioning of the system nor can provide technical support.
