Call for Proposals
THE CALL FOR PROPOSALS HAS CLOSED, AS OF FRIDAY, MARCH 18.
Each year, the Reform Conference features domestic and international topics and strives to create a balance of drug policy reform research, practice, advocacy and policy. We want the conference to inspire attendees and introduce them to new ideas and ways of thinking or working.
The Reform Conference Program Committee takes a very active role in creating and framing all breakout session topics. The primary goal of our proposal process is to seek out speakers who will enrich the chosen topics. For this reason, we accept only individual presentation proposals.
We also strongly encourage those directly impacted by the war on drugs, particularly current and former drug users and formerly incarcerated people, to submit proposals on topics relevant to their lives and experiences.
If you would like to share this information with a colleague, please download the PDF version of the 2011 Call for Proposals.
NOW THAT THE CALL FOR PROPOSALS IS CLOSED...
Please review the list below to familiarize yourself with the topics the Program Committee is in the process of developing for 2011. This list is not meant to be inclusive of all topics that may be developed. It also represents more content than panels we will produce; we expect some topics to be combined or reorganized.
If you have been in touch with a DPA staff member about submitting a late proposal, please submit a proposal now, and be sure to list the staff member you have spoken to.
