International Attendees

International participants should go to http://travel.state.gov/visa for important information on the visa application process for traveling to the United States.  Because of increased scrutiny of visa applicants, many attendees traveling to meetings in the United States from other countries have experienced unusual delays in obtaining travel visas, so leave plenty of time for this process.

International attendees often need a letter of invitation from the conference office to obtain a visa to visit the United States.  If you require a letter of invitation in order to obtain a travel visa to attend the conference, you must first register for the conference and pay the appropriate registration fee(s).  Letters will be sent via email.

If an original letter is required, the letter will be sent via U.S. mail or it can be sent overnight if a shipping account number is provided for any of the major international overnight shipping companies.
