Media Attendees
For media interested in requesting a press pass:
To ensure that your credentials are current, we require that you submit your current press identification. The conference organizers reserve the right to refuse media badges upon review of credentials and websites. Please review the categories below to determine the guidelines for submitting a request for a press pass.
Print Media
- A copy of your business card with name, editorial title and media outlet's logo
- A copy of a current masthead, which clearly displays your name and industry-related editorial title
- A bylined industry-related article written by you within the last 6 months
Online Media
- A copy of your business card with name, editorial title and media outlet's logo
- A copy of your online publication's home page and the masthead page with your name and title appearing in an editorial capacity
- A bylined industry-related article written by you within the last 6 months
Please note that online media must meet all criteria below:
- The website must have a paid reporting staff of two or more
- Website content must extend beyond links, forums, personal diaries, opinion or personal analysis
Freelance Writers
- A letter (on letterhead) from a publisher, editor-in-chief or managing editor indicating that you are covering the 2011 International Drug Policy Reform Conference for their publication, as well as the section of the publication to which you are contributing
The following groups are not eligible for media badges:
- Production companies
- Graphic design firms
- Marketing, advertising and public relations professionals

Registration Process
Once we receive your credentials, please allow up to two weeks for an email indicating your registration status. At that time you will receive specific instructions for registering.
